Food is good and affordable. I love the street tacos...the meat was fresh and tender. Tortillas are great and not rubbery like in other places.
FANTASTIC FOOD!!! Best breakfast I've had since I don't know when. Everything freshly made on site, service was excellent. First restaurant I've been in San Antonio since Medic school at Sam Houston 22 years ago. And what a fabulous treat on Veterans Day. Thank You all so very much!
Ordered two tacos and requested hot sauce and pico. When I went to pay I noticed my bill over $8 for 2 tacos. After inquiring further I was charged $1.70 for the pico. I questioned the charge and was still charged. Not interested in a Mexican restaurant who nickle and dimes me for a condiment for my taco. Surprised they didn’t charge for the red/green salsa. Never eating there again.
Amazing food every single time I have been here. Definitely my family’s favorite Mexican food in the area.
We found Jalapenos’s a few months ago and have been going there ever since for breakfast tacos. The food has been really good and consistent until this weekend. They gave us burned (to the point it was inedible) bacon in our breakfast tacos. The bacon was so burned it was in little pieces throughout the tacos. When we called them to let them know, they offered to give us free bacon next time. They would not replace the tacos. The manager did not care that we would never be coming back. FYI - we had never had or made a complaint prior. As a repeat customer we expected they would make it right.
