Lanehart was the electrical contractor for my new home build. No electrical issues in the 20 months I've been here. Recently a wall light switch failed and I wanted a dimmer switch installed on a fan light. It took the electrician about 20 minutes and everything was done. Nice guy and efficient. The price I was charged was outrageous. The $100 service call is probably about right for the trades in this area so had to eat that. However, I was charged $140 for two light switches - absurd! $70 each for a simple off-on light switch? C'mon guys, you can buy those switches all day long at Lowe's for under $10 and dimmer switches for under $15. It's called screwing the customer because you can. $240 for two light switches and a service call. It will not happen again. No recommendation to use this company.
Ok so I called these guys this morning after spending all morning on hold with other electricians and plumbers for an issues with my water heater. Finally called Lanehart, and they said they would have someone over in 60 mins. Tech came over in 20, fixed my problem in 5. These guys are awesome, and will always use them.
